…Segundo nossa enciclopédia, o Luiz Sobrinho. Aí estão as primeiras fixas já postadas no Fixedgeargallery, lá pelos idos de 2000.

Isso não quer dizer que foram os primeiros a ter/montar uma fixa em terras tupiniquins. Bem como é impossivel quantificar essas bikes aqui no Brasil.

This is my fixed-gear. This is not the first Brazilian fixed, but it was made recicling an old touring (10 speed Suntour original setup) from when I had 14 y.o. (so long time…). The original brand is Caloi, the first brazilian bicycles manufacturer. The details:
- 44 x 20 – Dotek crankset and Favorit (czech made) cog;
- Sunshine high flange hubs
- 27″ aero rims (36 inox spokes each)
- 1 1/4″ tires
- 21″ carbon steel frame
- Selle Royal saddle
- Dia Compe center-pull brakes
